TheLO-N2 Nitrogen Gauge Alert is a Standard Pressure Gauge with a built-in audio and visual alarm. When the tank pressure reaches 500 PSI or less the gauge triggers an audible buzzer and a flashing red light.
The LO-N2 is for most situation where maintiaing a costant pressure of nitrogen in tank/line pressure is an important factor.
The NFPA 99 requires that any time an Oxygen line is purged, especially for Medical Gas installations and modifications, that the purge gas pressure be monitored with an alarm device. The LO-N2 gage alarm has been used extensively for this purpose. It is the only reliable, inexpensive, and convenient device that meets this need.
